This Privacy Policy explains what information the Wordiko app ("Wordiko", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Wordiko you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you play as a guest, we create an anonymous account identifier for you. If you sign up, we store your email address and display name.
- Gameplay & progress. Scores, streaks, XP, puzzles completed, words missed, language preferences, and similar progress data, so we can save and sync your game.
- Usage analytics. Anonymous or account-linked events (e.g. rounds played, features used) to understand and improve the game.
- Purchases. Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and the app stores. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Advertising identifiers. When ads are shown, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may access a device advertising identifier and related data.
- Technical data. Basic device and connection information needed to operate the service.
How we use your information
- To run the game and save/sync your progress across devices.
- To provide subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To show advertising (including, where applicable, personalized ads) and support the free version.
- To measure performance and improve the app.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Third-party services
We rely on the following providers, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob — advertising.
- RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play — subscriptions and payments.
- Our hosting provider — to run the backend and store your account and progress data.
Advertising & tracking choices
On iOS, we ask for permission before using your device's advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this any time in your device settings. You can also reset or limit ad personalization through your device's privacy settings.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing us at the address below. Deletion is irreversible.
Children
Wordiko is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
